DOCUMENTARY SHORT FILM

Identity Not Detected is a hybrid documentary in which five trans/non-binary immigrants reflect on their experiences in the Netherlands. They address prejudices surrounding queer migration, discuss the differences in their experiences, and explore where these differences originate. Each person is given the opportunity to tell their own story in their own way (having a significant say in the writing, directing, and editing of their scenes). In doing so, they reclaim agency over their own identity; even if just for the duration of the film project.

This film is a collaboration with HUMAN, CoBo and Nederlands Filmfonds, made under the Teledoc Campus trajectory.
